What becomes of an old TV studio when a television station stops broadcasting there? In one case, the prime real estate gets converted into one of the Midwest’s premiere remodeling showrooms – a different kind of “studio.”
Milwaukee Kitchen and Bath Studios, MKBS, relocated and expanded from its original home in Glendale to a bigger, better facility in Mequon, Wisconsin.
The new 25,000 square foot building has been designed to showcase the very latest industry trends and provide consumers a wide variety of choices to view in person when considering remodeling their outdated kitchens and bathrooms.
“We decided to make this significant investment with our customers in mind. This location is more convenient and will allow us to present hundreds of different options for them to see in person all in one location,” said Paul Greenspan, MKBS founder.
Greenspan spent months searching for just the right place for the modern facility and ended up choosing 10510 North Port Washington Road in Mequon because of its convenient access to Interstate 43 and proximity to a majority of his customer base.
Highlights of the new location include:

- · 10 bathroom displays with the most modern options in vanities, sinks, and fixtures.

“Reaction from our customers has been fantastic,” reports Greenspan. “They love being able to visit one location and see so many options. Seeing the displays first hand takes guesswork out of the design process. What you see is what you get.”
MKBS and Greenspan’s team work with consumers directly, but they also handle requests from designers, interior decorators, contractors, and home builders. The new building has extensive warehouse and storage space which will allow MKBS to continue to expand as volume increases.
